The Nike Air Maxim 1 has enjoyed a strong 2010 and here’s another pair to reinforce that running start. The Air Maxim 1 ND is pictured above in one of the simplest, yet most satisfying colorways we’ve seen from the updated-87. They’re heavily white/grey/black, but thanks to the use of Torch mesh and Flywire, your eyes perceive a nice depth to the upper. A small splash of bright orange on the upper eyelets certainly doesn’t hurt either, as these joints are a perfect way to anchor your summertime fits.

Around World Cup time, we should expect a ton of flag-inspired colorways of Nike Sportswear models in addition to the dedicated World Cup Packs that have already dropped. This latest colorway of the super-light Nike Air Maxim 1 features orange/black/white colors of Holland, which is already one of the six countries represented in the Nike Sportswear Six Collection. It seems like everything orange is tied to Holland these days, isn’t it?
