The Nike Huarache Light runner returns in 2011, revamped and retooled with the latest in Nike comfort technology. The obvious alteration to this 90s classic is the addition of a Nike Free outsole with additional traction pots at the forefoot, but the upper styling is rather similar to the OG version from two decades ago. The upper combines a mesh shell with a fitted sock-liner at the ankle, and the M-shaped upper panel offers stability while minimizing the weight of the shoe, spurning the plastic lace housings seen in the original. Nike released the V-Series in 1985, which included the Nike Vengeance, Nike Venture, and the Nike Vortex. All three models are very similar and sport a nylon upper with suede overlays, Air unit in the heel, and a rubber outsole. It nice to see that Nike brought the V-Series back, and they still have the same design that made them popular in the mid 80s.
