Nike Zoom Kobe 5 V Ring Concord 386429-702

Nike Zoom Kobe 5 V Ring Concord 386429-702
You’re coming off back to back NBA Championships and not exactly outside of your prime. Yet, the experts have you falling short of a Three-Peat in favor of a team who has yet to suit up for a regular season game. We’ve always compared Kobe Bryant to Michael Jordan. If he really is anything like Michael, he’s out for blood this year. While Nike is excited about the prospect of LeBron’s potential future stranglehold on the Larry O’Brien trophy, they haven’t forgotten where their championship bread has been buttered for the last 10 years. That has been courtesy of Mr. Bryant, and the latest color way of the Zoom Kobe V is their way of saying “Thank You.”
Already dubbed the “5 Rings” Kobe V, the shoe sports a concord and gold upper, featuring the achievement graphic detailing we saw on the “Big Stage” releases. A gradient effect has been applied to the midsole, which sits above a translucent outsole to complete the look. Text: solecollector

Nike Zoom Kobe V & Wmns Zoom Soldier IV Think Pink YOW

Nike Zoom Kobe 5 V TB Yow Think Pink 407710-612
Pink and white takes on a slightly more serious tone for this full-size run as the ZKV is back in this year’s Think Pink edition to benefit the Kay Yow WBCA Cancer Fund. These joints have basically flipped the colorblocking pattern, plus they add a little metallic silver for that grown up feel.

Nike Wmns Zoom Soldier 4 IV Yow Think Pink 407638-116

The Nike Zoom LeBron Soldier IV TB is the ZLSIV’s simplest colorblocking pattern, typically reserved for team-uniform matching. But as we’ve seen from the NBA and WNBA, everybody can get by with pink kicks at the right times. Check out more shots when you click the jump below and grab a pair of these Pink ZLS4 & ZK5 at our online shop.

Nike Zoom Kobe 5 V United We Rise 386429-105
Kobe is dropping yet another patriotic themed Zoom Kobe V with this USAB ‘United We Rise’ model. The shoes are done in red, white and blue but there is one subtle difference that you discerning sneakerheads have probably spotted already. The shoes do have a familiar color blocking thanks to the recently released USAB Kobe V’s but the major difference is the pixelated graphic found on the upper which replaes the Navy that we had previously seen on the other model.Text:kicksonfire

Nike Zoom Kobe 5 V X Blackout 386430-003

Nike Zoom Kobe 5 V X Blackout 386430-003

Nike Basketball did the ‘Triple Black’ thing for a while, but the most recent ‘Blackout’ editions of their best shoes have offered a slightly lighter take on the theme. This year’s LeBrons added a little gold, and the new Nike Zoom Kobe V ‘Blackout’ is going in the silver direction. That says nothing of Kobe himself, whose Lakers have been the NBA’s (purple and) gold standard for two years now; just that there are a select few Metallic Silver accents lightening up an otherwise black as night ZKV.

Nike Kobe Hyperdunk X Zoom Kobe 5 V Aston Martin Pack 402638-001

Nike Kobe Hyperdunk X Zoom Kobe 5 V Aston Martin Pack 402638-001

This particular pack is undoubtedly inspired by the Kobe Bryant commercial in which he shows Ronnie Turiaf and the rest of us how to jump over an Aston Martin DB9. Both sneakers feature the exact color scheme that the car possessed in the commercial. Graphite grey makes up most of both sneakers, while minimal red and tan hints can be seen throughout the tongue, inner lining and various branding. The packaging is even more impressive. Nike decided to place a silhouette of Kobe getting ready to leap over the vehicle on the package with the phrase "That’s How You Do It" repeating all over (if you recall, Kove repeatedly said these words after jumping over the car). Now available at our online shop.

Nike Zoom Kobe V 5 POP Playoff Carpe Diem 395780-001

LeBron’s contract extension with Nike was a biggest sneaker story, but fans of Kobe’s kicks had no need to worry about the Black Mamba jumping ship, as he already signed a contract extension with the Beaverton boys three years ago. Bron and Kobe are easily 1 and 2 in the sneaker game and in the NBA, which has boded well for Nike over the last few years. It gives Nike the opportunity to create extra colorways for their playoff pursuits, like the Nike Zoom Kobe V POP, which features a quintessential Lakers colorway with a graphic of pyramidal tessellations on the upper. Check out these new detailed pics after the jump; the Zoom Kobe V POP is now available at our online shop.

Nike Zoom Kobe 5 V Bruce Lee 386429-701

Nike Zoom Kobe 5 V Bruce Lee 386429-701
In Bruce Lee’s The Game of Death, he dons what has come to be an iconic jumpsuit in black and yellow that Uma Thurman also wore while dicing through what seemed to be a hundred-plus enemies in Kill Bill I. This costume is the inspiration for the new colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe V. The upper is yellow and black, with a hint of red on the heel outsole. Don’t sleep on this release, as it’s sure to be one of the most popular releases of the Zoom Kobe V.

Nike Zoom Kobe 5 V Dark Knight 386429-001
As more and more releases for the Nike Zoom Kobe V surface, the opinions of the shoe consistently lean towards positive. Especially when the shoe is influenced by great ideas, as the signature shoe gets the movie treatment with the Dark Knight edition for the Nike Zoom Kobe V (5). This black/metallic blue colorway opposes the Joker edition Nike Zoom Kobe IV. The metallic hue of the shoe matches the Dark Knight’s armor, while mostly taking influence from the movie poster, which features Gotham City in a desolate dark tone with a blue hue.
