We have a new set of "Veterans Day" Air Max LeBron VIII images. The patriotic white leather and obsidian Flywire base is immediately upstaged by the bright varsity red leather tongue, bearing King James' blue-eyed lion head logo. Unlike the sample we saw earlier in the week, the final version of the "USA" VIII strips away the metallic gold accents and replaces the old "L23" logo with LeBron's signature on the heel. We now have a closer look at what LeBron will be wearing on court for the Miami Heat. Perfect for any of of the three Miami Heat uniforms, this latest LeBron 8 arrives in a classic black, white and sport red color scheme. A black nubuck is used on the toe area, and also takes place on the side panels and ankle area. Creating the Miami Heat-inspired look, sport red is used on the tongue, Swoosh border, 360 Air unit and other areas throughout. White also joins in on the fun, working on the Swoosh and midsole wit the help of some sport red speckle. You can pick up this at our online shop.

Nike Basketball’s Air Max LeBron VIII (8) will not only be released in a basic Black, White, and Sport Red colorway but a special China Edition of the shoe was also created with design inspiration coming from various Chinese elements such as stone lions, which are used on the tongue, heel, and even outsole. A simple White and Red colorway was used for this year’s China Edition of LeBron’s signature shoe and it should look great on King James when he and the new look Heat play at home at American Airlines Arena.

While the NBA Playoffs, this is normally the time we’d expect to see the release of the new Zoom Soldier model. Instead, Nike will hit us with the Lebron VII P.S. (Playoff Series) in these POP (Playoff Pack) colorway. The revamped AMLVII loses its Air Max bag and replaces it with Zoom, leading many to speculate the (Air Max) moniker will eventually be dropped. Flywire remains the main construction material along the quarter panels, and the shoe retains the same basic lines. Leather replaces the heel panel where the technical material usually resides, and LeBron’s lion logo replaces the standard LBJ23 design.
