The pack celebrates two of Kubrick’s biggest movie, (2001: A Space Odyssey) and (Full Metal Jacket.) The (2001) pair sport a black patent leather upper that that is interrupted by a fully perforated leather toe box. The interior is painted red and it matches the red colored computer chip graphic on the ankle collar and on the tongue. The pair also includes a key chain with a red dot in a homage to HAL, the computer system in the movie. The second pair, replaces the patent leather with a tan leather and uses a white leather in the toe box. The ankle collar is subsequently decorated with a camouflage print that includes a (peace) sign, an obvious inspiration from the movie.

As a continued effort to celebrate Brand Jordan’s Silver (25th) Anniversary, Jordan Brand will continue to release various Silver Edition Air Jordan Retro’s through the course of the year including this White, Metallic Silver, and Neutral Grey colorway of the Air Jordan II (2). Obviously, judging by the colorway, Michael Jordan himself never wore this particular retro basketball sneaker. These particular Air Jordan 2 (II)Retro contain a predominately white leather base with multiple neutral grey and metallic silver accents throughout the upper, with perforated holes making a stripe along the forefoot. The latter accents also possess 3M material giving the shoe a unique, reflective look.

Suede and mesh construction means that a good colourblocking pattern is pretty much untouchable, so it’s obvious who’s going home with the gold (white and grey).

Light blue finishes the upper and also appears on the outsole and the base of the Flywire construction. Black is the other color used here, as it appears on the Swoosh, Flywire threading and midsole. A brown East 2010 patch is sewn on the insole, further signifying the importance of these shoes.

The Air Jordan 11 (XI) "Space Jam" may not be the retro release everyone was waiting for, but only weeks after it's release, The Jordan Brand is hitting us with yet another classic in the Air Jordan 6 (VI). If you recall, Michael Jordan sported this retro sneaker while winning his first of six championships. With that said, this classic retro basketball shoe first hit retailers during the 1990-91 NBA season. However, this retro basketball shoe seems to feature a couple of different attributes from the original version. As you know, Varsity Red has been substituted on the midsole in place of the classic Infrared, though it’s fair to say we can all agree it will do the trick. Furthermore, the predominately black base seems to be made of suede rather than nubuck, while the icy outsole is of course back as well. The lace lock and tongue jumpman logo are done up in the same shade of red.

As we previously mentioned the All Star Game has prompted Nike to make 4 color ways of its Air Force 1 available in some pretty cool color ways. Each shoe features a patent leather upper a special logo for the occasion.
This time we see the varsity red pair & royal blue and they are just as clean as any. With a white midsole and black outsole the varsity red patent leather upper is balanced by the metallic silver heel tab/swoosh. The metallic silver leather is pebbled and the logo work appears on the heel of the shoe.
