Nike Zoom KD 4 IV YOTD Year Of The Dragon 473679-300
Shaping up to be a sneaker that just can’t miss, the Nike Zoom KD IV has a pretty strong track record despite only having a handful of colorways to its name. With that being said, we’d be pretty surprised if the 2012 Year of the Dragon didn’t fly off the shelves as quickly as its predecessors. Like the Nerf and Weatherman before it, this release goes heavy on the graphics-with a wavy look for the strap and lining as well as a little dragon hit floating around the swoosh on the medial side of the sneaker. Nike LeBron 9 IX Freegums White Black Red 469764-101
Nike LeBron 9 IX Freegums White Black Red 469764-101
Dec 31st is LeBron James’ 27th birthday; however, Nike will celebrate it the following day in the form of the Freegums x Nike LeBron 9 release. This subtle yet stylish colorway of LeBron’s ninth signature features extremely detailed graphic art throughout the upper. The previously mentioned artistic designs are the work of Miami artist Freegums aka Alvaro Ilizarbe. The predominately white and black upper is also offset by minimal Sport Red branding hints and a unique, artsy pattern on the inner lining. Check out more images below and get it at our online shop.

Nike LeBron 9 IX Christmas Edition 469764-602
Nike LeBron 9 IX Christmas Edition 469764-602
In our talk with LeBron designer Jason Petrie, the man stressed again and again the importance of using the sneaker and its different releases to communicate a clear story. The drops we’ve seen for LeBron’s ninth have achieved that so far, and the ‘Christmas Day’colorway arriving soon definitely does that as well. Hopefully capturing some of the elation brought about by the return of the NBA in the heart of the holiday season, this Christmas release has held the attention of many despite fierce competition from other big-time drops in the month of December. Nike Zoom KD 4 IV X Black Team Orange Photo Blue 477677-001
Nike Zoom KD 4 IV X Black Team Orange Photo Blue 477677-001
The Nike Zoom KD IV: Better fit and support
Designed with new insights from Kevin Durant, one of the game's most potent all-around performers, the versatile Nike Zoom KD IV Men's Basketball Shoe features an updated construction and a serious support system for quicker, more aggressive play.
-Benefits
Hyperfuse construction for ultra-lightweight durability and breathability
Adaptive Fit system for support and lockdown
Nike Zoom for low-profile cushioning and lightweight performance
Flex grooves along the outsole for a more natural range of motion
-Construction
Unlike its predecessor, the Nike Zoom KD IV features revolutionary Hyperfuse construction: three different layers of material fused together to create a nearly seamless one-piece upper. The result is zones of ventilation, durability and stability, right where you need them.
-Support
The Adaptive Fit system has synthetic straps at the forefoot and arch, attaching at the midsole and integrating with the laces for total lockdown and support.
-Cushioning
Nonstop sprinting on hard, wooden floors requires excellent cushioning. The Nike Zoom unit in the forefoot provides lightweight, low-profile and responsive cushioning for all four quarters, while a Phylon midsole--which weighs about an ounce less than traditional Phylon--builds on the shoe's comfort.
-Fit
Anyone can wear this shoe, from point guards to power forwards. The 5/8-height collar provides optimal support and flexibility, rendering it versatile and powerful for every position on the court. Cushioned lobes inside the heel collar create a snug fit for better lockdown in the heel.
-Signature Details
Lightning-bolt traction pattern to represent Durant's team
The words “Big Chucky” on the heel to recognize his late childhood mentor and coach
The number four repeated on the outsole to signify his fourth signature shoe
The initials WP in a heart shape on each toe to honor his parents
The name Barbara near the toe to remember his grandmother
Durant's favorite motivational messages “Work Hard” on the left shoe and “Stay Focused” on the right
Three stars on the heel to symbolize his hometown, Washington D.C.
