In Bruce Lee’s The Game of Death, he dons what has come to be an iconic jumpsuit in black and yellow that Uma Thurman also wore while dicing through what seemed to be a hundred-plus enemies in Kill Bill I. This costume is the inspiration for the new colorway of the Nike Zoom Kobe V. In what may be Bruce Lee’s most famous film, Enter the Dragon, the receives a slice across his shirtless chest, and those streaks appear on the forefoot of the sneaker, near the toe. The upper is yellow and black, with a hint of red on the heel outsole. Don’t sleep on this release, as it’s sure to be one of the most popular releases of the Zoom Kobe V.

DJ AM has been spooted doing some sneaker shopping at Undefeated on Entourage, and his collection has been for sale on Ebay to honor the DJ AM memorial Fund. The DJ AM, AC/DC-styled logo on the tongue in red letters outlined with yellow. So what did the sneaker aficionado opt for on his own signature model? Well, a true DJ would see that the perforations on the heel are not just a random cipher or a ornament–these are the dots that are on the turntable platter on the Tecnics 1200 turntable that, when the power switch’s light hits the platter in motion, form a pattern of lines that correspond to the pitch the record is being played at.
